Depending on the individual child and reason for referral, paediatric consultation may involve assessment, ongoing review, management planning, and coordination with other healthcare professionals.
Meet Dr Shalinder Singh Samra
MBBS MD FRACP MPH
Dr Shalinder Samra started his initial journey in Paediatrics in India (MD Paediatrics) but destiny brought him to Australia. He holds dual fellowship in General Paediatrics and Paediatric Emergency Medicine from The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
During his training, he had the privilege to work in almost all hospitals in Sydney Metropolitan area and beyond.
He has extensive experience and skills in managing a broad range of paediatric problems but has a special interest in behavioural problems, ADHD/attention problems, learning difficulties, asthma, eczema, weight and nutrition issues, new born conditions including feeding issues, constipation and bed wetting.
He is a big fan of sports especially cricket and soccer, and rugby since moving to Australia.
